Buddhist name: Hong Du(Sila Son of Bodhisattva)
Founder of the concept of "Yi Xiang painting ",
which manifest the impermanence inherent in
every phenomenon by painting.
Creator of ink paintings and ceramics with
extremely thin and long lines in a natural way. He
calls them "Ji Xian"
Born in a Hakka family in Zeng Cheng, Guang Zhou.
He became the disciple of Master Kuang Ming Li in
1993 and in 1995 he graduated from the Applied
Arts Professional Training College.
Since 1996 for over a decade he had been
a Graphic Designer.
In 2005 he left the busy urban life and devoted
himself into the ardent spiritual practice in Wutong
Mountain, at the same time he focuses on painting.
After another decade of hard work, he is able to
create a batch of works which expressed his ideas
of "Yi Xiang" and " Ji Xian". These works are so
spiritual that they seem to have souls.
